Hey. It’s me, your back yard dog.

I know it’s cold but I was hoping you would come check on me when you got home. I waited for you, you didn’t come. I barked because you forgot to feed me and give me fresh water, again. You yelled at me to be quiet. 😥

It’s late, The lights in the house went dark, you are probably in bed now and won’t come bring me in from the bitter cold. What did i do wrong? Why don’t you love me? I still love you....

Please if you won’t bring me inside and love me like family, will you find someone that will? Someone that would feed me every day and keep me warm and safe like i wish you would do. Because I still love you.

Please don’t forget about me again. I’m waiting for you....but it’s so cold and I’m lonely. 💔

12/28 SAFE WITH A HARRIS COUNTY FOSTER FOR NOW. HE STILL NEEDS AN ADOPTER!!!

12/15 A volunteer took new pictures and videos of CUTTER today.
‼️‼️This sweet boy that had to see his brother leave his kennel to be euthanized is at HIGH RISK of euthanasia tomorrow, MONDAY, for being there too long‼️‼️

‼️🆘️‼️💙CUTTER(2nd post)has been moved to section 5B, which sadly is the last section in the back of the shelter. Poor CUTTER is really going unnoticed this section. He's kenneled with a dog that arrived December 9. CUTTER is at HIGH RISK of euthanasia ‼️🆘️‼️

12/12🆘️‼️CUTTER has now spent another month without his brother that was euthanized. We fear we will lose this innocent puppy because he's a black dog in the shelter for ✳️60 days❇️. We really need CUTTER to be seen by many and saved before its too late‼️🆘️‼️

- Not reactive towards dogs in other kennels when passing by them
- He’s super calm
- Very patient boy!
- Just likes to explore all the different smells in the play yard
- He seems like a low level of energy type doggo
- Loves his scratches
- He’s a very laid back boy
- Loves to give hugs
- Would be a great candidate for apartment living since he’s so calm
- Overall, a very loving, patient, and submissive boy! :)

Unfortunately the health of this dog declined rapidly overnight and was found deceased this morning :( R.I.P Nevil 💖
