Slow and steady wins the race. They say a picture is worth a thousand words. And although the scale is moving at a snail’s pace and my in body scan is creeping in the right direction It’s taken me 2.75 months to get where I’m at today. This week was the first time in these months where I’ve seen a little change, a glimmer, some hope.
While they are not huge changes they are changes and for that I’m excited. It’s been a lot of talking to myself , literally! Hyping myself up, being consistently consistent. Never steering from the plan, never giving up on myself. Being lonely in another state. Eating more calories than I ever have, no high intensity workouts, lifting weights 4-5 days a week , and walking 3-3.5 miles 6 days a week. Nothing fancy, nothing outrageous.
So if your struggling with your fitness journey, it’s never too late. Don’t give up, you are worth it. One day adds up to one week, one week adds up to a month, a month adds up to a year. Little changes yield big results in the long run
Keep going, you are worth it. If you have a slip up like I did. You get right back up!
