Hey everyone, I just wanted to take a minute to introduce myself and Backwater Kayak Rental. My name is Austen. I've lived in Nebraska most of my life but recently moved to the Fort Worth area in May. Fishing and biking have always been passions of mine, so getting a pedal-powered kayak allowed me to enjoy both of my hobbies together. Whether you enjoy fishing, kayaking, biking, or all of the above, I wanted to create an opportunity for others to experience a top-of-the-line pedal fishing kayak.
What sets Backwater apart is that, unlike nearly all kayak rentals that limit you to a single body of water, we allow you to go to nearly any lake of your choice. I provide delivery to several lakes around DFW, but I also offer a trailer that allows you to travel as far as you're willing to drive. This is perfect for weekend anglers, those looking to compete in fishing tournaments, or anyone wanting to take a day off work to explore a local body of water with a kayak equipped with everything you need for a day on the water.
