We’re excited to officially welcome Dixie County Junior/High School Bassmasters to our club tournament series this season, along with North Florida Anglers !

Bringing our three local clubs together adds another layer of friendly competition to tournament days while giving our student anglers the chance to meet, compete with, and build friendships with anglers from other clubs across North Florida.

Each club will still compete 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐛 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬, while we’ll also crown 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 at each event. 🏆

More boats. More competition. More friendships. And hopefully a whole lot of BIG fish! 🎣

We had a total of 9 anglers fish the Tye Wood Memorial Fishing Tournament this Saturday.

Huge congratulations to Ryals Blanton for finishing 4th place with his dad, Wayne and to Cason McCoy for finishing 9th place with his partner, Fitz!

Other team members who participated were Grayson Fields, Arden Hansen, Bo Jones, Carter Jones, Alex Jordan, Lane Norris and Carson Starling.

Tomorrow is the Tye Wood Memorial Fishing Tournament!

For those who may not have known Tye, he was one of our own - a member of Fort White Bassmasters as well as Columbia High Bassmasters Lake City, Fl.

We know several of our Bassmasters families will be on the water tomorrow, and we’re looking forward to a great day honoring Tye and doing what he loved.

If you don’t have plans tomorrow, come on out to Cypress & Springs RV Resort for a 3pm weigh-in. There will be food trucks, merchandise, raffles and more. And…you could even stick around for live music afterwards!

Come spend the afternoon with us, support a great cause, and enjoy some family fun!
