First reported by WANE 15 yesterday, Dean Lehrman has announced he is retiring as Heritage’s Head Baseball Coach at the conclusion of this season.

Dean has been a head baseball coach since 1979 (Woodlan 1979-87; since 1988 at Heritage) and he currently has 736 career wins entering postseason play.

Dean Lehrman is an amazing human being. From my time getting quotes from him, he’s always been generous and goes over and beyond for the kids. Heritage will miss his presence.

A true Heritage Patriot and one of the most successful baseball skippers in IHSAA history.
