We had a great time at our first PDRA Pro Nitrous event!

We decided to make the 2,200-mile round trip from Arkansas to North Carolina to participate in PDRA Racing Drag Wars.

After a couple of test runs on a rain-shortened first day, we knew we had a really strong car. Then Jeff Pierce put on his cape and had us as the quickest car in each of the three qualifying rounds. We were able to take the #1 spot with a 3.629 ET at 209.5 mph in Q3.

We earned a bye in Round 1 of eliminations and once again went low for the round.

Unfortunately, we had to run fellow Jeff Pierce Race Car Tuning teammate Amber Denton in Round 2, where a parts failure ended our day earlier than we had hoped. Congrats to Amber, who ended up making it to the finals!

The entire PDRA family was so welcoming of us… I’m just sad I didn’t get the chance to make it around and meet each and every one of you, we will definitely be back again soon. I can’t say enough great things about this organization and the Franklin family.

We are so blessed to be able to participate in this crazy sport and incredibly thankful for everyone who has helped us along the way.

We will be back in action with our Mid-West Drag Racing Series family at “The Smack Down” in a few weeks at Flying H in Odessa, MO

After a bye in E1 we will face teammate Amber Franklin in E2

The opening round of Pro Nitrous saw the marquee matchup go to Dane Wood on a holeshot over Tommy Franklin and now all eyes go to Marcus Butner who came into Drag Wars second in the championship standings.
