After a long day on the bike. I roll over a mountain top into the golden hour of sun set. A field with hay rolls and deer was lit up. Bob Seger’s “Roll Me Away”came though the head phones and I rolled that power on. Max speed is not a big deal. Still got the flat track full drift lean angle though. Ran out of tire.

The XCGear Mako 360 on a T66 is getting close for production.
I was most impressed with the increase in precision felt in the steering. I didn’t know what I was missing there.

Do to the real shock absorption, you can run stiffer springs with out suffering from felt washboard buzzing though the bars. I expected that from our off road racing with the Mako.

Engine vibration, is reduced but not gone. It may not reflect what other riders will feel because I run the 32” Hard Bar. The same bar we run on the enduro bikes and without the bar-end weights.

I’m testing different polymers hardness for us to reference for different terrain and riders.

Welcome to the Midwest Hard Enduro Series. We are a new series starting in 2027, linking together some of the best hard enduro races throughout the Midwest. We are currently set for a 5-race series. We're building fun yet challenging race courses for beginners to get their feet wet in the hard enduro world. At the same time, we will be offering some of the most challenging off-road races the Midwest has to offer. We are a series and a community of racers — for racers, built by racers. Think you have what it takes to be the best in the Midwest?

With a wide variety of classes, we have a place for everyone. Men or women, old or young, gas or electric. Our youth races will challenge the future riders of the sport, building character and determination you won't get anywhere else. The sights you see along the way will be something you cherish forever. They will be stories you tell far into the nursing home. This is more than just a race series. This is a way to bring people together with a common goal: riding our dirt bikes. So come challenge yourself. Show off your true skills.
