She did it! Regan Hutsell, from my hometown of Kingwood and my Miss Texas sister, just won Miss America! To say I’m proud and happy for her is an understatement. Now America will get to know her. What a blessing and a light she is to anyone privileged enough to meet her. She’s an absolute gem!

Tonight’s the night a new Miss America will be crowned. My Miss Texas sister Regan Hutsell has represented the legacy, the sisterhood, and my home state with such elegance and grace this week. Everyone who has had the opportunity to meet her has fallen in love with her. Regan, go out and enjoy every second of this experience. Regardless of the outcome, I’m so proud to have had the pleasure and privilege of getting to know you!
