Progressive Overload โ”

Understanding what progressive overload is, can and will help you make consistent progress

Increase Volume:
Increasing the total amount of work you perform in a session over the entirety of a progression

Increase Load:
Increasing the amount of weight you lift from week to week

Decreasing Rest:
Allows you to perform the same amount of work in less amount of time

Changing Tempo:
Creates more time under tension which increases the total work done from week to week

Changing Exercise Selection:
Changes the adaptations to each lift, without having to change load or volume
