💉 Does the injections scare you away from starting your egg freezing journey?

They’re tiny. Quick.
After day one it just becomes part of your routine.

I was like… wait, this is what I was stressed about?

A few things I was worried about:

Hormones getting messed up
Gaining weight
Mood swings
Long-term effects

Reality:

You’re not putting something foreign into your body.
You’re just increasing hormones your body already makes… for like 10–12 days.

And then it goes back to normal.

The “weight gain” is mostly just bloating.
Not fat.
It goes away pretty fast after.

✨️

Mood-wise… I honestly felt normal.
Maybe a little more aware of my body, but nothing dramatic.

(I know some people feel it more though.)

Also something I didn’t know:

You’re not “using up” your eggs.

You’re just maturing the ones your body was already going to lose that month.

The only thing that’s actually worth being aware of is OHSS,
but with modern protocols it’s way less common than it used to be.

was worse than actually doing it.

🥚 Retrieval day: less dramatic than my coffee order.

I started hormones 11 days before, then took the trigger shot 34 hours before retrieval… which felt very “okay, this is happening now.”

Arrived at 10am.
Done by 12pm.
Honestly… I’ve had longer brunches.

😴 The procedure is under light anesthesia, so you don’t feel anything. One minute you’re chatting, next minute you’re waking up and it’s over.

💭 Cramping for me was maybe a 2/10.
Like a mild period.
I didn’t even take painkillers.

🏡 Went home, relaxed, watched something easy.
Two days of taking it slow. Small walks only, lots of hydration.

🥚 I got 6 mature, good-quality eggs that didn’t need any culturing before freezing.

📊 With modern science, doctors often aim for around 10–15 mature eggs to significantly increase the chances of at least one baby. I’m expecting about 6 more on my next round, which puts me in a very reassuring range statistically.

Not a guarantee… but close enough to feel like I bought myself real freedom.

🧠 The biggest surprise?
It didn’t feel scary. It felt empowering.

Like opening a biological savings account.
Freezing eggs… but really freezing pressure.

Back to normal life, just with a little more peace in my back pocket.

🌿 What mattered most to me was being treated as a whole person.
Not just an egg count, not just a number.

🧠 Hormones, metabolism, lifestyle, cycle timing…
they looked at the entire system.

🕊️ And that changed everything.
Because this decision shouldn’t come from panic.
It should come from clarity.

💫 The goal isn’t to delay life.

✨ A lot of people think dating improves when they raise their standards.

Sometimes it does.

But often it just creates more frustration.

Because standards filter people…
they don’t automatically attract better ones.

🪞 What attracts is who you are being.

Your habits.
Your discipline.
Your emotional maturity.
Your self-respect.

People are naturally drawn to what feels familiar and aligned with their own level.

⚡ You don’t attract from what you say you want.

You attract from what you embody and tolerate.

That’s why someone can say they want a calm, loyal, emotionally mature partner…
but keep choosing chaos and inconsistency.

🌱 Becoming what you want to attract isn’t about perfection.

It’s about alignment.

If you want discipline, live with discipline.
If you want honesty, practice honesty.
If you want emotional maturity, develop it within yourself.

🔥 Exceptional partners usually seek exceptional lives.

Not perfection.
But growth, integrity, and self-awareness.

🌙 So yes, raise your standards.

She laughs at his jokes.
She admires his work.

Meanwhile at home he might only hear criticism, corrections, and what he did wrong.

This doesn’t justify cheating.

🔥 Another uncomfortable truth: sexual energy matters.

Masculine energy is strongly tied to physical intimacy.
