Welcome to Fort Drum Weightlifting! 🏋

My name is Stephanie and I am so excited to meet and lift with you all! 👋

I am a Fort Drum spouse, veteran, nurse, step-mom and student. I discovered Olympic weightlifting in 2021 after my late husband completed su***de. It gave me an outlet to release all the negative and confusing emotions that come with trauma, as well as a way to focus on something physical and give my brain a break 🧠

There are so many weightlifting communities across the country, but the North Country seems to have missed the memo. Well, we’re here to bridge that gap! 👣

Whether you’re a garage lifter, AFF patron or just curious about the sport, introduce yourself and tell us what weightlifting has done (or you hope it can do!) for you! 📢 ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️
