We had such a great day at our first conference meet, what a way to end the season. The weather was beautiful and the Humboldt swim team were amazing hosts!
We were one of the smallest teams there, but didn’t let that stop us!!

Out of the 53 entries we took:
-40 placed in the top 10🏅
-29 were season best times⏰
-14 Conference Champions🏆

And broke a 29 year old conference record in the 15-18 mixed 200 freestyle relay by over 10 seconds!😀

With only 16 swimmers total we were still able to finish 5th in the points for boys, girls 8th, for a combined team finish of 8th.

With all the area pools having issues with glass, Rosedale has now put a ban on these types of goggles. They may not all be glass but it is to hard to tell just by looking at them. So none of them will be allowed. If your swimmer has these please do not send them to practice or meets.

There are always things that can be improved upon but I think it went fantastic!!
Thanks to all of our lifeguard helpers, timers, hole workers, computer geniuses, and our fabulous starter/judge! We couldn’t do any of it without all of your help!!!!!
And thank you to Duck King Yum for bringing out their truck to feed the hungry swimmers!💦💦💦
