As he loads, as he strides he is coiling a round the back hip which allows him to be ready to launch at any given moment

He then slots behind the body while the hips fire allowing him to get on plane with this pitch early in is swing and to drive this pitch to left field

Pena Crushed This Ball 🔥

Loading through the heel is essential!

I think a lot of young hitters are told to get on their toes, but this is actually hurt them

It causes them to dive into the plate, dive into their front side, causing choppy swings and un balanced swings

Elite hitters load through their heel and maintain weight through their heel as they load and stride and then let the pitch dictate when to shift to their ball of their foot when needed.
