Gravel Worlds Nebraska 2026 is in the books! What a ride and an awesome event. A special thanks to the organizers/volunteers led by Jason Strohbehn and Sofia Gibson. They put on a world class event but with a grass roots feel (check out the YouTube footage of the pro race).
A couple of 2 Rivers employees participated (Tony 150 mile, John 300 mile) as well as great friends and advocates of the store (Beth 150 mile, Ben 300 mile). Everyone finished! Super proud of all of us.
For me, it was the first 300 miler I've completed. I had some dark moments and hallucinations, but made it through. Ben finished in under 24 hours which is flying for an ultra distance. Tony overcame cramps and finished the 150 strong. Beth finished her first 150 and is now ready for the Unbound 200! All of us have stories and work behind the accomplishment. This is one to put on your list for next year and then we'll want to hear your stories! Distances from 35-300 mi.
