Didn’t end how we wanted it to end, but an Elite 8 appearance was an awesome season for these young ladies. We either win or we learn, and today we learned that we are a great team that came up a little short for the Final Four. Ladies finished the season 14-8 with their first Elite 8 appearance since 2012. We are proud of each of them!

The RING THE BELL phrase is bittersweet today, as the ladies earned a spot in the Sweet 16 for the 4th consecutive year; however, the gentlemen fell to Jefferson 3-2 with the last two matches being decided with set tiebreakers.

It was such a great season for the gentlemen as they finished with a 14-6 record, ranked as high as number 5 in the state PSR, 6 hard working seniors who never gave up, and a very thankful coaching staff for the privilege to coach them.

Ladies will play the winner of the Luella/Adairsville match. If Adairsville upsets Luella, then we will host at some point in the next week. If Luella wins, it’s a rematch of our April 1 meeting at Luella.
