Today provided an excellent opportunity for me to guide a returning client, and I am thrilled to report that he caught his first bull redfish while kayaking. Well done, Ck! He came remarkably close to achieving an Alabama inshore slam, missing only a flounder. Our fishing trip yielded a substantial catch of trout, accompanied by a small bass. It is evident that he has made considerable progress in his skills since our previous two excursions. Personally, I only managed to catch a single fish, a 19-inch trout. Throughout the day, I encountered difficulties in landing fish. The Southern Salt bait company Menace shad paddletail proved to be a highly effective lure, with the Haymaker and Dark Knight colors being the most attractive to the fish. Moreover, Ck achieved success with a Driftwood Custom Baits topwater spook, catching a couple of trout. I am impressed by the reliability of the Fins Braid, as we did not experience any break-offs during our trip. I am eager to embark on our next adventure, Ck.
