Havoc 10u - 1st tournament highlights
* Raleigh / Goldsboro / Triangle area, NC *

Thirty days ago the Havoc 10U program was just getting started. This weekend we found ourselves in the Gold Bracket Championship.

Over the course of the weekend, we had 10 different players - all playing multiple positions, 8 different pitchers taking the mound, and an entire team continuing to learn new goals, expectations, and what it means to compete at a high level. From learning the art of base-running / stealing, to locating fastballs & changeups while understanding the count, to holding runners on, defending bunts, and executing first-and-third situations, these kids embraced every challenge thrown their way.

There is still plenty to teach, coach, and develop, but these young men are on a fast track. If they continue to buy into the process, hold each other accountable, and commit to getting a little better every day, the ceiling is incredibly high.

Most importantly they had fun, and are building some great new friendships.

Proud of these kiddos. Thankful for the families who support them. Excited to see where this journey takes us!

This Sunday (8/9) afternoon - the Fall Season begins for our 10u and 12u Havoc teams.

At Havoc 10U and 12U, we believe development comes before trophies. We practice with purpose, focusing on the fundamentals, details, and habits that build complete baseball players. We develop athleticism, teach the game the right way, and embrace the idea that improvement happens through quality reps, not just simply more games.

We compete in high-level tournaments throughout the fall and spring, but we’re intentional about our schedule. Our goal isn’t to play every weekend or even every month. Our goal is to help kids get better every week.

Most importantly, we believe kids should still be kids. We encourage our players to play other sports, spend time outdoors, go hunting, fishing, camping, and make lifelong memories with their families that last far longer than a box score. Being a well-rounded kid matters.

Development. Competition. Balance.
