The Flint Warriors Hockey Program was created for disabled Veterans providing a therapeutic, educational, and developmental setting through the sport of hockey in a healthy atmosphere.

Update:

We have been approved by the Federal Government as a 501c3 non profit. Next steps will be behind the scenes.
We will have our first board meeting to make everything official.
I (Adam Lyons) have already been in discussions with some businesses to be sponsors.
We are working on our logos and getting an official website online.
Also working on a team store for shirts, hats, hoodies, etc.
Stay tuned as things will start moving quickly. I have been recruiting myself and have had a few reach out.
Still in need of more players.
Remember any veteran of the US or Canadian Armed forces can join. Current hockey players or those looking to start playing. Even if you don't play, we will need behind the scenes help. Looking forward to getting things going.

Want to provide an update. We are now official thru the State of Michigan. We are currently waiting on the Feds to approve our 501c3.

If you are or know any veterans of the Armed Forces we are looking for players. Both current hockey players and those interested in learning the sport.

We are making plans for learn to skates and learn to play for those who never have. Currently have about 10 players but we need more. Just send us a message and you'll get added to the roster.

When sending your interest msg please include whether you play currently or are looking to learn. Please also include contact information from our roster. We will be taking both Disabled and non disabled veterans.

We also need a goalie or 2 as we do not have that yet. I will be out and about here in the next few weeks at different rinks and Veterans Organizations to recruit.

Look forward to getting this going. More info to follow later.

Good Afternoon anyone who has clicked or is following this page. This is the page for the New Flint Warriors Hockey Team.
Our team will be made up of Military Veterans and Disabled Veterans. We will be sanctioned thru MAHA and USA Hockey we are still in the early stages of getting things going. Please stay tuned we will post updates as needed.
