Hello families,

We wanted to send a reminder of important dates coming up:

August 29th @ 10am will be orientation at Parkview Christian church in the great room. You can expect a lay of the land, how the program works as well as a brief rules overview.

Sept 1st -730pm Will be picture day. We understand this is a Tuesday practice night, however our photographer is available on this date. Players may show up anytime between 5pm and 730pm for their photo, which should only take a few minutes of time. The photographer will be reaching out with order forms and additional information prior to sept 1st.

📣 Upward Volleyball Important Date Reminder 📣

We apologize for the date mix-up in our previous communication and appreciate your patience as our volunteer team works through the many details of the season. Thank you for your understanding!

🏐 Important Dates

July 31 – Registration closes

August 1 – Evaluations at 9:00 AM at Parkview Christian Church
Please make sure your registration fees are paid before evaluations.

August 29 – Orientation at 9:00 AM, with a brief coaches meeting immediately following. We'll cover the season schedule, rules, and other important information.

August 31 or September 1 – First practice (your team will practice either Monday or Tuesday for 1 hour each week). Practice time will be between 5:30 PM and 7:30 PM. Your team's day and exact time will be shared soon.

September 12 – First game of the season, scheduled between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM.

Please note that a few of our season dates have changed. We apologize for any inconvenience, and we appreciate your flexibility as our program is planned and run entirely by an amazing team of volunteers. Thank you for your understanding and support!

- July 31 – Registration closes

- August 1 – Player Evaluations
🕘 9:00 AM
📍 Parkview Christian Church
Please note: Registration fees must be paid before your player can be evaluated. To allow us to finalize teams on schedule, registration fees must be paid by August 1 in order for players to be placed on a team.

- August 29 – Parent Orientation – 9:00 AM
Orientation will cover the season schedule, rules, expectations, and other important information. A brief coaches meeting will immediately follow.

- August 31 or September 1 – First Practice
🕠 Practices are 1 hour long and will be held between 5:30–7:30 PM on either Monday or Tuesday throughout the season.

- September 12 – First Game of the Season
🏐 Games will be played between 9:00 AM–12:00 PM (exact game times will be announced).

Upward Volleyball Families,
We are looking for a few more volunteer coaches for this season! We currently have 4 committed coaches, and with our current registration numbers that would mean approximately 12–14 girls per team.
While we are thankful to have those coaches, adding a few more volunteers would allow us to create smaller teams, giving each player more playing time, more opportunities to develop their skills, and more individual attention throughout the season.
No previous coaching experience is required! We provide practice plans, support, and resources to help you every step of the way.
If you've ever considered coaching, we'd love to have you join us. If you have any questions or are interested in volunteering, please don't hesitate to reach out. We'd be happy to talk with you!

Hi everyone!
It seems there has been a mix up on dates. Last year's dates were still linked to this year's registration, which has created some confusion. I apologize for that.
If your daughter cannot make evaluations this Saturday, just send me an email and we will mark it down. We like to see the girls and evaluate to make even teams. We can also place girls based on experience.
Please note, registration fees must be paid before jersey orders will be placed. If we have not received your registration fee we will not be able to order jerseys on time. So please make sure your registration fees has been played.

We will have orientation August 29th, for jersey hand outs and season information for the girls and parents.
Plan for a brief coaches meeting following the orientation.

Again, we apologize for any inconvenience or confusion this may have caused. Feel free to reach out to [email protected] if you need to miss evaluations.

💫 Evaluations will be this Saturday 8/1 @ 9am (plan to be there a few minutes early for a quick verification of information. Also note registration fees must be paid before your child can participate in evaluations)

💫 First practice is 8/24 or 8/25 (time TBD)

💫 First game is 9/12 (times tbd)
