As some of you know that watched Night 1 of the 10 Nights of Christmas we are raising money for Sammy Macaulay, a beautiful, athletic and vibrant 15-year-old young lady. On October 20th, fellow fisherman and longtime Wahoo Ju**ie Mark Macaulay and his wife Kellie received the devastating news that their youngest daughter Sammy instead of having a pinched nerve in her hip was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma, a form of cancer that usually strikes children and adolescents. The treatment plan is aggressive and will render Sammy unable to have children later in life. Already dealing with a live-in parent (Sammy’s Grandmother) just weeks before diagnosed with Brain Cancer, you could imagine how their world is shaken to the core. There is a bright spot to all of this and that is that the doctors can harvest Sammy’s eggs now and store them until she reaches the age that she wishes to have children. This process is extremely expensive for the long term and is not covered under the family insurance plan. This will be at a personal expense to the family and this family is just like most of us.

Well today marked another milestone for the Saltwater Challenge my 36 Contender Open...Today Tony Eden and the expert staff at Boattronics Of North Florida installed a Rhodan 96inch tolling motor so that we'll never have to anchor again. We tested it in the St Johns River with a brisk 15 knot east wind and an opposing outgoing tide and it amazingly held within 5ft of the anchor point for as long as we wanted to stay. Yes, 36 Contender full of fuel (450 Gallons or 3000lbs), triple 300hp motors....absolutely amazing!
