🥎 BACK AT IT! 🥎

After a well-deserved summer break, our FFP 15U girls were back together this weekend — putting in a couple hours of work on the field before finishing the day with a pool party/team builder to get reacquainted the right way. Huge thanks to the Knox family for hosting! 🙌

We’ve got a busy fall and winter ahead of us, and these young ladies showed up ready to work.

Will we face some adversity over the next few months? Absolutely. But this group has shown time and time again that they’re up for the challenge, and we have no doubt they’ll rise to it again. 💪

The fall is our opportunity to see where we are as a team — build on our strengths, identify areas where we need to improve, and get better every time we step on the field.

Our first tournament is just a couple weeks away, and we can’t wait to get back out there!

Good things ahead for this talented group. Let’s go, FFP! 🧡🖤🥎

As the sun sets on our 14U season, we’re reminded that every ending is really just the beginning of the next chapter.

Yesterday we wrapped up the season with our team party (thank you Dimich fam), sharing plenty of laughs, great food, and one more opportunity to celebrate an incredible group of young ladies and their families. What a year it has been.

From the very beginning, we challenged this team to compete against some of the best competition we could find. Time and time again, these girls answered the call. They grew as players, as teammates, and as young women, proving that hard work, resilience, and believing in one another can take you a long way.

The wins, the tough losses, the road trips, the practices, the inside jokes, and the memories… another unforgettable season is officially in the books.

To our players, parents, families, supporters, and everyone who helped make this season possible—thank you. Your encouragement, commitment, and countless hours invested in this team mean more than words can express. We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to coach this special group.

Now it’s time for a well-earned month off to recharge before we get back to work.

The 14U chapter is complete…

Tourney highlights from our last tournament in Lansing. Enjoy!

Our last stop of the year took us to Lansing for the Michigan College Exposure Tournament, where we knew we’d have our hands full with two very talented pools. We also experienced a first—a full day delay due to smoke and poor air quality. It was disappointing to lose bracket play, but it was absolutely the right decision.

Saturday didn’t go quite as planned. We opened with a hard-fought 4-2 loss to the eventual tournament champions in a game that was competitive from start to finish. In game two, adversity struck immediately when one of our girls suffered an injury on the very first play and had to be helped off the field by medical cart. It understandably shook the entire team. The girls did their best to regroup and battled hard after digging an early hole, but softball took a back seat that afternoon as our focus shifted to supporting our teammate.

Sunday showed exactly what this team is made of.

The girls bounced back with a gritty 2-1 win in a pitcher’s duel before closing out the tournament with a 14-2 three-inning mercy victory behind a 13-hit performance. Huge shoutout to Novah P. (OTF) and Katie W. (ITP) for leaving the yard! 💣 We know our teammate was cheering the girls on from home.

Our finish would’ve earned us a spot in bracket play under the original format, but with Friday’s games washed out by smoke, only the two pool winners advanced to a championship game. Regardless, this group showed tremendous resilience, toughness, and character when faced with a difficult situation, and we couldn’t be more proud of how they responded.

Now it’s time for a well-earned break for the girls and their families before we turn the page from the 2025-26 14U season and get ready for our next chapter together at FFP 15U.
