Race Recap for us and our 3 Gen Racing #36 at Middleford Speedway

We started the night off a bit off the pace in warm-ups, playing it safe with timing and jetting. With a solid game plan from Chris Kostiak, we made steady improvements every time the car hit the track.

We rolled off 1st in the heat but still weren’t quite where we wanted to be speed-wise, finishing 3rd. Which lined us up 6th for the feature before the redraw.

After several setup changes and some motor work, luck was on our side with the redraw, putting us on the front row in 2nd for the feature. We misjudged the initial start and lost some ground early, but were able to make adjustments in the car that brought it to life. Combined with strong restarts, the car became an absolute rocket, driving us back up to finish 2nd on the night.

His first time in a 1/4 Midget, and he wheeled it like a pro. He hit the track flat on the throttle and never lifted. Proud of this kid!

Huge thank you to Bridgeport 1/4 Midget Speedway for putting this event on and all of the teams that brought their equipment out for these kids to get some track time.

Decent run this past weekend for Carlisle Motorsports and the 3 Gen Racing #36 at Middleford Speedway.

We were able to move forward in both races, going from 5th to 4th in the heat and 8th to 5th in the feature. The car was consistent and with the changes we made, we were faster each time we hit the track.

That said, we know we left more on the table. We missed on the setup for the feature, and it cost us some speed that we needed to be in the fight. We’ll go back to work, make the right adjustments, and come back stronger.
