As we officially close out our 2026 season, I just wanted to personally take a moment to thank each and every one of you for everything you poured into this organization this year.

Finishing our inaugural season with an incredible 11-9 overall record and 7-3 at home is something this city should truly be proud of. For a first-year organization, that is a major accomplishment, and it would not have been possible without the dedication, sacrifice, and commitment of so many people behind the scenes.

To every staff member, volunteer, community partner, sponsor, supporter, friend of the organization, and every single person who purchased a ticket and believed in what we were building — thank you.

From game day operations, media, entertainment, sponsorships, community outreach, and Hope.Community initiatives, every department played a role in helping us build something special for the city of Fayetteville. Together, we created memories, impacted families, inspired young people, brought energy to the city, and gave fans something they could truly rally behind.

This season laid the foundation for something much bigger than basketball. We made history in Fayetteville, and this is only the beginning.

I also want everybody to know that we will absolutely be back next season.

Thank you again for being part of this journey, believing in this organization, and helping us build Liberty Nation.

One Love. One City. 2-6.

NO ENERGY LIKE A FAYETTEVILLE CROWD.

To the city of Fayetteville, the surrounding communities, Liberty Nation, our sponsors, partners, volunteers, staff, and every single fan that walked through those arena doors this season…

THANK YOU.

Year One of the Fayetteville Liberty was bigger than basketball.
It was about community.
It was about pride.
It was about proving that this city deserves professional basketball at the highest level.

And y’all showed up.

From the opening tip to the final buzzer…
From packed moments inside Crown Complex Arena to every chant, every jersey, every picture, every kid inspired…

You gave us one of the best atmospheres in the ENTIRE TBL.

There’s truly NO energy like a Fayetteville crowd.

This season was built with love, sacrifice, belief, and hope for something bigger than ourselves.
And because of YOU, the Fayetteville Liberty is here to stay.

We are just getting started.

One Love.
One City.
2-6.

Year one.
One point away.
118–119.

But what a statement this season made for the city of Fayetteville.

To every fan, family, supporter, sponsor, partner, volunteer, player, coach, staff member, media member, and believer who poured into this inaugural season of the Fayetteville Liberty — thank you.

Tonight may have ended in a one-point loss to the Raleigh Firebirds, but this season was bigger than a scoreboard.
This was about building something the city could rally behind.
Something the youth could believe in.
Something our community could call its own.

From Fayetteville to Spring Lake, Hope Mills, Raeford, Cameron, Sanford, Fort Bragg, and the surrounding counties — thank you for embracing Liberty basketball and helping create unforgettable moments all season long.

To our partners and sponsors: thank you for trusting the vision before the foundation was fully built. Your support helped bring professional basketball, opportunity, community outreach, and hope to the city in a major way.

To our players and staff: thank you for competing, sacrificing, and representing the city with passion and pride.

To Liberty Nation: you showed up. You got loud. You created energy that cannot be taught.

And most importantly — this is only the beginning.

Year one laid the foundation.
Year two, we build higher.

Hope.Community. One possession at a time.
