🏀 ALL-STATE HONORS FOR JANIYA DANIELS! 🏀

Congratulations to Janiya Daniels on being named to the 2025–2026 Pennsylvania Sports Writers All-State Girls Basketball Team (Class A) 3rd Team— an incredible accomplishment and well-deserved recognition as one of the top players in the state! ⭐

Your toughness and consistency all season long helped power the Farrell Lady Steelerettes to another championship run and made the entire community proud.

Coach Ed Turosky shared:

“Wow!! What an amazing achievement to be recognized as one of the best players in the state in Class A!! It’s a testament to all the work she put in over her years here at Farrell!! I couldn’t be more proud and happy for her and our program!!”

Big congratulations to Farrell Lady Steelerettes upcoming freshman Da’Miah Wiley on being named All-Tournament Team this weekend at the Y-Town Easter Shootout! 🌟

Big time recognition for our girls! 💙💛🏀

Cassidy Davis-Roberts and Kris “Bebe” Blue represented the Farrell Lady Steelerettes by earning All-Tournament Team honors at the Buddy Guerino Tournament!

Both players competed at a high level all tournament long and showed the toughness, leadership, and pride that Farrell basketball is built on. Well deserved recognition for two key pieces of our program’s future and success. 💪🏽🔥

The Farrell Lady Steelerettes finished 2nd place in the Buddy Guerino Tournament after falling to Sharpsville in the championship game. Not the ending we wanted, but this group showed heart, toughness, and growth all tournament long.

Our underclassmen continue to step up and represent the city the right way — competing every possession and building for what’s ahead. The future is bright for Farrell basketball! 💪🏽🏀

💙💛 Steelerette Spotlight! 💛💙

Congratulations to Zaniya Thomas of the Farrell Lady Steelerettes for being named a finalist for the 2025–26 Lock Stock & Barrel Sub of the Year! 🏀🔥

Zaniya’s toughness, rebounding presence, and impact off the bench have been a major part of Farrell’s success this season. She continued to step up in big moments and do whatever the team needs to win — the definition of a difference-maker!

She joins an outstanding group of finalists, with the winner to be announced on PSL Monday, April 6th.
