Our first swim meet of the summer is tomorrow! Warmups start at 5:30. This will be a short, informal meet, but we do need help timing! If you're willing to volunteer, please join us at the pool!

We had a great turnout for the open house today, and the swimmers were excited to get in the water. If you missed it - it's not too late to get involved! Fill out a registration form on our website to sign up for any/all of the 4 weeks. Kids ages 5-18 who can swim the length of the pool without touching are eligible.

POSSIBILITY OF 2021 FAST PROGRAM

The conversation has begun about the possibility of a summer FAST program for 2021. There are a lot of things to consider but most are included in the items below and a decision will be made on what is best for all 3 sites:

1. A decision by all sites to allow their youth sports camps to be held this summer.

2. A review of the indoor swim practice/swim meet guidelines set up by USA swimming and the impact/feasibility for our 3 local sites.

We will update this information and decisions are made.

Attached is the flyer for the Fall/Winter Swim Team at the Southside Virginia Family YMCA for 2019-2020. I hope each FAST swimmer will continue to train in this lifetime sport.
