The San Juan Country Club began as an idea by a group of local businessmen in 1952.

Starting meetings began at McCormick Elementary School with 35 people in attendance.

As word grew so did attendance. Not long after our community began to fundraise every dollar went toward building the clubhouse and first nine holes.

From that point 10 families $1,250 each in lifetime memberships with no guarantee of success.

Without an idea, without our community, without the 10 founding families the club we know today would not be standing.
