The last few weeks of racing at Little Elko!

Everleigh is finding her groove well in the rookie class! As the kids would say, “She understood the assignment.” 😉 A couple heat wins, and a feature win under her belt this year with one “clean sweep” day! 🧹🏁

Jacob is still adjusting to the Senior class. It is a VERY competitive class with lots of talented drivers! We are still trying to shave 2 tenths to really make things happen but we will find it and I’m confident in his ability! We consistently make the transfer from the B-mains to race the show, we had one late race hiccup that ended our weekend early a couple weeks ago as he didn’t make the transfer😞. Keep on digging!🏁🏁

The kids are having a blast and we love our Family Sundays at Little Elko! 🏁🏁 Win, lose or draw it’s all about being out there as a family!🏁🇺🇸

The first few race days are under out belt and the kids are having a blast! I have been really bad at updating this page!

Lola raced the first couple of race days and decided she just wasn’t ready yet! She decided that right now she is best fit as Jacob and Everleigh’s biggest fan! She enjoys being at the race track and playing with all the other kids!

Everleigh is really starting to find her groove! She is progressing with lineups and her racing line and picked up her first heat win of the season last weekend! Still working on the starts and pushing the gas pedal down right away!

Senior Honda is a dog fight for Jacob! It’s a tough transition from the junior classes to senior classes with the speed, the number of cars in the class as well as the skill level of all the other drivers who have been racing it for years now! He is making good moves on the track and is doing his best to hold his own. He got caught up in a couple wrecks the last couple of weekends but got right back into it!

Everleigh was nice enough to let Miss Lola borrow her car this last weekend so she could complete her rookie training!

Lola was a little shy at first but once she got on the track, she was a fish in water! Just like riding a bike for her! She did excellent for her first time ever on the track and unlike her siblings before, she kept it off the wall 🫣😂👍🏻.

Lola is excited as ever to join the race team! 🏁💪🏻 Lola and Everleigh will be in the same class to start this year, we will see if there is any sibling rivalry on the track🤜🤛😉

Shoutout to the Grandparents for watching the other kids while Taylor is still in the hospital and big shoutout to Jess Rose for letting Everleigh talk her ear off in the tower while Lola took to the track with me😂😉

Also big thank you David Fredrickson for being a great mentor for Lola as she battled the nerves!🏁

Have been extremely late on racing updates and I apologize!

The last two race days at MQMRA - Little Elko Speedway were bittersweet! It’s always hard to say goodbye for the year!

Jacob has grown tremendously in his ability to race clean and be humble whether we take the checkers or not! We have plucked quite a few wins out of the season, however we have been digging most of the time and have grown in our ability to adapt to different tracks and weather changes throughout the year! His junior 160 class was by far the most challenging, and one of the most competitive at Little Elko! We have some pretty cool pictures of his flips and wrecks🥴! Seven front axles, three sets of right side rims, bent pushrods, numerous radius rods, as well as a bent frame after a serious collision!! It’s safe to say we will be going through the cars this winter… all winter🙃.

Nolan has excelled in his abilty to get lines ups and race starts correct! He is moving onto Jr. Honda next year! Nolan has plucked a few wins out of this season and has definitely grown into a great leader! His car is always bad-fast and he has excelled in his passing skills throughout this season! We are proud of you Nolan!!🏁

Everleigh has spent all year digging and digging to get her checkered flag finish and it happened on the last race of the year! Feature winner🏁🏁🏁🥇 Thank you Jess and Nicole for your magic go-fast glitter! 😎😎🤙🏻 She will return in Red Rookie next year to fine tune her skills!

We raced one last time at the dirt track and had an absolute blast , the photos say it all! Thank you Tiffany for capturing these moments!
