GLK attended an amazing seminar and belt promotion hosted by Shihan Callahan and Shihan Poe with 極真館-Kyokushinkan in Harrod OH on July 18th and 19th, 2026.
We appreciate Shihan Callahan, Shihan Poe, AVK dojo and everyone who supported and attended the event.

We honor the legacy of Sosai Mas Oyama, the founder of Kyokushin Karate, training with an unbreakable spirit and unrelenting passion. (June 4th, 1923 - April 26th, 1994.) OSU! Sosai.

Great Lakes Kyokushin participated the 3rd Annual USA IFK-AVK Open Karate Championships in Lima, OH on March 28, 2026. Congratulations to Shihan Poe and team AVK for the success of the event!
