Such a great article! Overall licensing is up 44% this year before Minnesota’s fishing opener. Get out fishing!

Through Tuesday, the DNR had sold more than 13,000 fishing licenses for Minnesota youngsters who are 16 and 17. That's an increase of 99 percent for the same period in 2019.

Wow! Check out this brute!

Caught an incredible walleye today that would have been close to or possibly surpassed the North Dakota state record. Fish was 34 inches long and I am an idiot for not having a digital scale in the boat. Since I didn’t know the true weight, I decided to release the fish as I didn’t want to kill the fish unless I knew for sure. Incredible fish I will remember vividly my entire life. Caught on the Missouri River south of Bismarck casting a Salmo Slick Shad soft plastic up shallow. New PB!

During the past month, club member Michael Hanowski traveled down to Florida and got in on some fishing action!

Mike is also the club’s treasurer and is an active leadership member of the NDSU Clay Target Club as well. Thanks for all you do for NDSU’s sportsmen and women, Mike!
