Hey Yale Curling fans and friends! We qualified for the USA Curling College Tour and Championship National Championship in Fargo, North Dakota, the first one in 3 years after COVID-19 cancelled the last two.

Unfortunately, Fargo is quite far away from New Haven, and our club's funding doesn't cover the steep costs of transportation and lodging necessary to attend the three day tournament. We would really appreciate anything that anyone is able to give-- this is going to be the last college spiel for most of us on the nationals team, and it's proving to be difficult for us to come up with the steep cost of lodging and transportation. A huge congratulations to Dr Krista Knudson who successfully defended her PhD Thesis.

Krista was one of our first members and has devoted countless hours to our Bonspiels, training sessions, and social events. Many of you may not know Krista - What makes Krista special is that she did all this work without ever being eligible to compete and also while being a new mom. She would always put the club before herself.

We are so proud of the Yale Curlers that went to the RIT Bonspiel this weekend! The team included two first-year curlers attending their first ever bonspiel! They're on their way home with a D Event win!! 🥳

In the Semi-final at Philadelphia Yale lost to RIT and won in the D-Event final against Villanova Curling . Huge thank you to our friends Allison, Chelsea and Sharker who drove down to be with us.
