🎯 August is National Shooting Sports Month — and Texas SCTP is all in! 🇺🇸

Across the Lone Star State, SCTP teams are saddling up for a brand-new season, and there’s no better way to kick it off than by joining us in celebrating National Shooting Sports Month this August!

This nationwide initiative showcases the energy and excitement of shooting sports—from beginners breaking their first clays to seasoned athletes sharpening their skills. It promotes safe, responsible firearm use through events, competitions, and community activities hosted across the country.

🔥 Come celebrate with Texas SCTP through team practices, league shoots, and community events that unite athletes, families, and supporters across Texas. Whether you’re a first-time coach, a returning athlete, or a proud fan—this is the time to get involved and fire up the season.

As we all reflect back on this season, there’s is a LOT to be very, very proud of!

First and foremost, we shifted our team culture, there was no negativity this year, no chucking hulls, and there was accountability. We saw a lot more positivity and helping teammates out. We saw a lot of athletes grow and get better. We saw our new shooters improve throughout the year. All of this while we had the MOST tournaments we’ve ever shot in a season, which was challenging for practices and team building.

This is a statement about everyone involved with the team from Drew down to every sibling that comes out to support the team, every volunteer hour given, and of course the time and financial commitment we all make to get better as a team.

AECST is a family and a darn good one to be a part of!

We are #1 in TEXAS AND #2 in the COUNTRY!!!! That’s an amazing accomplishment and growth year over year!!!

I hope everyone has safe travels and I’m already looking forward to seeing all of you vets helping the next class of shooters in a month or so!! 😳
