The boys extended their win streak to 13 today with wins over St. Croix Central and Baldwin-Woodville at their houses. Bryson Elkins hit his second dinger of the season!

Next up Stanley-Boyd at home on Tuesday 4:30pm!

The boys kept rolling tonight with their 11th win in a row beating the Cadott hornets at home 14-1 in five innings.

Next game this Saturday at 11:00 at St. Croix Central, followed by a game at 1:30 at Baldwin/Woodville.

Full season so far through 16 games the Crickets have outscored their opponents 168-51.

Games played in WI 138-29.

In the last ten games the boys are 10-0 and have outscored their opponents 113-14. In those games four wins were in shutout fashion, with two of our pitchers (Heath & Wright) throwing 3 no-no’s, and three different players hitting dingers (Elkins, Bann, and Gustafson).

If you’re a baseball fan, and/or a Cricket fan, you should come out to a game to show the boys some support! Next up is Cadott, at Fall Creek this Thursday at 5:00pm!

Today the boys beat Cadott at their house 21-3. They have now won the last 10 in a row.

Logan Gustafson hit his first varsity career home-run, a towering shot that flew several feet over the already massive 12 foot fence in left field.

NORAD has been contacted to let us know when it lands so his dad can retrieve it.

The boys play next at home against Cadott at 5:00pm on Thursday, May 7th.

Congrats to Josh Wright on being chosen the Leader-Telegram's High School Athlete of the Week!

Here is the text of the article:

"Junior Josh Wright has delivered in a big way, on the mound and at the plate for the Fall Creek baseball team.

Wright pitched a no-hitter last week as the Crickets downed Abbotsford/Colby in the Crickets’ 10-0, five-inning win in Fall Creek.

Wright struck out eight while only walking one batter. It was the 12th no-hitter in the history of the Cricket baseball program.

4/28/26: Top 5 Plays of the Day

Wright started this season with a 1-0 record, a 1.56 earned run average and 13 strikeouts.

Wright also has come through as the leadoff batter for the Crickets.

He is batting .516 with 15 runs scored entering Tuesday’s play. He has five doubles and five stolen bases.

Wright also excels in basketball for Fall Creek.

Since returning home from Florida the team has gone 7-1-1.

Tonight’s home game against Osseo-Fairchild has been postponed due to weather and field conditions.

In the last six games played the Crickets have out scored their opponents 62-5 and gone 5-1, and 3-1 in conference. In those games their pitching staff threw two no-nos and won three of the games in shutout fashion with the help of their amazing defense who played two of the games without an error in the field.

We have another big week of games ahead. All games start at 5:00pm and are subject to change due to weather and field conditions:

- Monday, April 27th - Osseo/Fairchild at home.
- Tuesday, April 28th - Chippewa McDonnell at home. Parents night!
- Thursday, April 30th - Chippewa McDonnell at Casper Park in Chippewa
