The Falconer Invitational gold out track & field meet is here…Friday night beginning at 3:30! Expecting nearly 700 athletes. Raising money and awareness for 3 important Buffalo based non-profits who are very active in the Southern Tier. These organizations will be on campus this night. Also, we are conducting a bone marrow registry drive. Most importantly will be the “gold lap” at intermission, around 5:30. Anyone in attendance will be welcomed to the track walk a lap. The Falconer students have been busy making signs, and it will be live streamed on Facebook at “Falconer Track and Field Invitational.” The child life specialist for J12 South at Children’s hospital in Buffalo is helping make sure those families see the lap, and know they are not forgotten.

The 23rd Golden Falcon T & F Invitational is Friday night May 1, 2026 begining at 3:30. There are expected be about 700 athletes competing. It promises to be a great night featuring some of the top track & field athletes in Western NY.

This year’s meet is a gold-out event. Gold is the color that recognizes Pediatric Cancer. The hope is to raise funds, and awareness, for 3 important Buffalo based organizations that have/are helping Southern Tier families battle this repugnant, unimaginable disease in children and adolescents. Representatives from these organizations, with informational booths, will be in attendance. This event will also include a bone marrow registry drive…a life saving necessity for some pediatric warriors.

Details regarding the gold-out will be posted here soon, including the “golden lap” at intermission. Thanks in advance to Falconer Student Council, Key Club, and Honor Society who are helping to organize.
