Welp as Bryson and I are riding a bus to a parade for marching band! We are talking racing. This really isn’t what we hoped to be writing this early in the season. But we fought some bugs last year. “Even thou he had a really decent season” And we just seemed to get everything ironed out. He got dumped on season championship night. So instead of having some extra funds to get the “extras” to be able to hopefully run weekly this year. He was shopping for another car. Found 1, needed work!, we knew it had been ran with low fuel psi. So I told him right away. It may last 1 night and it may outlast the car itself. Well it lasted 3 nights. So then we attempted to go back to the motor that took the hard front end hit last season. And it’s just not right. So sadly without a miracle, Herm is done for the season.
As a family we cannot afford to just dump money into another hobby of his. As the boys do so many things outside of racing also. We really appreciate the sponsors that have ALWAYS been there for the boys! As they chase these racing dreams. They both absolutely love racing!
But it takes alot of time and alot of money to race weekly. And honestly sponsor support has been lackluster at best this season. Seems people only honestly want to help the big budget teams🤷🏻‍♂️ The boys went out personally and handed out letters and shook hands to approximately 20-25 area businesses. And it produced 1 sponsor for these 2 youngsters.
It is what it is.
Bryson is bummed, but he also understands. Hes sitting in a really good spot in points which was a goal of his this year. But he realizes the spot he’s in. As we have always paid to take them racing. But made them use their sponsor money to buy and maintain the car/karts.

Again we truly appreciate the sponsors and supporters that have stuck it out with us. And hope they will continue to ride along once we get him back on the track!!

Kamy will be running local this season. With a special trip outta state hopefully planned for August !!

He was so close to a slick last lap pass to 4th. One mistake got him!! After a fouled plug in the heat. It took Herm a bit to settle in on the rough track in the feature. But the last 3 laps he got it down. He had the line and the speed on the bottom to pass Parker and Ty coming out of 4. But when the car pitched it took it away! All in all a great 1st night in a new car! A few tweaks and on to Clash of the Tuners on the 16th🏁

Bryson has been itching after getting wrecked and ending his season a few races early last year.
Sounding like we will have a really decent field of compacts tonight. 10 or so! Should make for sowm good racing!
