Summer Camp is complete.😢We wrapped up camp with a BBQ with the families and a day of competition. Teams had a great time competing in Archery, fishing, survival, Taekwondo and kayaking. Fun had buy all. What a great week. We want to thank all of our team leaders: Karson Churchill, Blake Lamos, Victor Laroque and Parker Gervais. Also all of our staff: Mike and Deb Lamos, Debbie Williams, Rocky Barry and David Graves. These people made this week possible. Thank you

Today the kids did Archery, compass and land navigation and how to follow a blood trail. We spent some time today reviewing for the hunters education test tomorrow. A lot more fish were caught. The weather has been great!

Third day of Summer Camp. The kids got to participate in Archery today. The weather held for us. Another good day!

Today was the second day of the first Crossroads summer camp. The first two days have been so much fun! 26 kids performing hunters eduction, fishing, kayaking, swimming, survival skills and taekwondo. From kicking and punching to fire starting these kids are kicking butt and having fun! Friday afternoon all four teams will compete in every event. It’ll be a great day! Six instructors and four team leaders are making it all possible. Such a great event for the kids of our communities. Thank you to all the parents for trusting us with their kids.

Day 2 of our summer camp. I don’t even know where to start. We start our mornings off with hunter safety then fun by all in the afternoon. To see kids kayak, catch a fish, start a fire with flint do taekwondo for the first time is such a beautiful thing to see. Today kids shot pellet guns as part of the Hunter safety course. We had one young man over come a fear of the water and go in and swim out over his head. Yes he had his life jacket on. The teams are working hard on their shelters to be judged on Friday. I love to see all the smiles. I can’t wait to see what the rest of the week will do for them.

With Shedrick’s Martial Arts camp this week and Crossroads camp next week, Crossroads Taekwondo will only be conducting one class on Tuesdays and Thursdays for the next two weeks. That class will be from 5:45 pm to 6:45 pm. We will return to our regular schedule starting August 18. We hope everyone is having a great summer!!!!

What a day for a parade! Today was Sheldon Old Home Day. The Northern Tier Taekwondo Federation participated in the parade. Thank you to all the Students from Shedrick’s Martial Arts (Swanton), LaPlant’s Taekwondo (Sheldon) and Crossroads Taekwondo (Fairfield) who showed up in force to walk and break boards in front of the Sheldon Community. Everyone did a great job. Fun was had by all!
