📣 Calling all 3rd–6th grade basketball players interested in PAL Travel Basketball!

You don’t have to be the best player or have the strongest skills to try out! We’re looking for players who work hard, include and encourage others, want to improve, and enjoy being part of a team. 🏀

This year’s teams:
🏀 Grades 3–4 Boys
🏀 Grades 5–6 Girls
🏀 TWO boys teams for grades 5–6: either separate fifth- and sixth-grade teams OR Two EVENLY BALANCED teams
🏀 Grades 3–4 Girls — team formation will depend on participation numbers

What does travel basketball involve?
✅ A $60 additional fee, covering three tournaments and a uniform your player gets to keep
✅ One additional practice each week
✅ Required participation in our in-house program, including practices and games
✅ Games typically on Sunday afternoons; the farthest we have traveled is Mt. Blue
✅ Additional tournament opportunities, including our own PAL Hoop Classic

🙋‍♀️ Travel basketball is a family commitment! Families are required to volunteer during the PAL Hoop Classic, held over two weekends, with three hours on Saturday and three hours on Sunday each weekend. It takes all of us to make this event happen, and all funds raised go back to PAL. It’s also a fun way to support our players and connect with other families!

Whether your child has played travel before or is wondering if they’re ready—come try out! 💙🏀

Come see PAL Basketball at Trunk or Treat at Lawrence Primary on October 24th from 11 AM–1 PM!

We’ll have basketballs ready, so show us your shot or your best dribble tricks. Grab some candy and register early for basketball!! Paper registration forms will be available!

As our season wraps up, we want to send a huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped make it possible!

This program only works because of the people who show up four our youth! The volunteer coaches, officials, parents, and families who give their time to make sports memorable and teachable for our children.
A HUGE thank you to everyone who stepped up to make the 41st Annual PAL Hoop Classic such an incredible weekend for our kids and others l across the state!

None of this happens without a community that cares. Because of you, our players got to learn, compete, and be part of something special.

We are so grateful for every person who helped make this season possible and for helping create memories these kids will never forget. Thank you for being part Fairfield PAL Basketball🏀

That’s a wrap on the 41st 2026 PAL Bulldog Hoop Classic Grades 3/4 Boys & Girls!! Our ow PAL 3/4 Girls Travel team one the girls division and Nokomis 3/4 boys won the boys division. Congratulations!!

THE SCORE IS THE PLACE FOR LOCAL SPORTS!!!

This weekend The Score will have live video streaming coverage of The 3rd & 4th Fairfield PAL Bulldog Classic. Saturday.., our coverage begins at 9 am with 8 games live from Folsom Gym in Fairfield. Then on Sunday.., we'll have live coverage of 8 more boys and girls games, including the semi-finals and championship games on both the girls' and boys' sides.

he Score will have all the games from Lawrence High School this weekend with live video on our YouTube channel .
