Braddock Blue Jays The Braddock Blue Jays is a non-profit travel softball program in Fairfax focused on player development, teamwork, and high-level training.

We support Little League, prep players for high school, and offer year-round skill-building with expert coaches. 🥎 The Braddock Blue Jays is a non-profit travel softball program located in the Fairfax area, providing advanced softball development opportunities for local youth. Our goal is to create a more competitive softball environment and develop players for high school-level softball. The Blue

Jays Softball Program is dedicated to player development, competitive success, and fostering a love for the game. Our experienced coaching staff emphasizes skill building, teamwork, and preparing athletes for higher levels of play. We strive to build a strong softball community by teaching advanced skills, encouraging teamwork, and creating connections between local families. Additionally, we support our local Little League (Fairfax Little League) and high school softball programs. Our 12-and-under program is designed to complement participation in Little League during the spring season, with the goal of making Little League Tournament Teams more competitive and helping them advance toward the Little League World Series. The Blue Jays program focuses on three pillars: individual skill development, practice, and gameplay. We aim to maintain a balanced approach across all three pillars. During the fall and spring seasons, the emphasis will be on practice and gameplay. In the summer and winter, the focus will shift to developing individual skills often overlooked in other travel programs. Players will follow personalized training programs tailored to their needs, participating in small group sessions led by professional instructors.

So many Blue Jays on this team 💙🥎 We are proud of these girls for all their hard work and excited to see what they will do next 💪🏼

We are thrilled to share that our very own Fairfax Little League Softball 9-11 All-Star team has advanced to the Semi-Finals of the Virginia State 9-11 Softball Tournament! The team will play for a spot in the state championship game tomorrow (July 8th) at 9 AM in Yorktown, VA. Follow the game via GameChanger by searching for "D10 - Fairfax".

This is a huge accomplishment for Fairfax Little League and its brand new Little League Softball program. We wanted to share this exciting news with you and hope that you can follow the game tomorrow on GameChanger or even make the trip to Yorktown.

Congrats to our very own Fairfax Fire. All of Fairfax Little League will be cheering for you!

Did you know that Fairfax Little League Softball will soon celebrate 1 year of being a program within FxLL? What a year it's been!!!

📌 Continued combined league partnership with ANSLL allowing for players to play FxLL Softball
📌 Exceeded expectations in registration numbers in both first and second season as well as for tournament season
📌 Won Interleague AAA Softball Championship in Fall 2024
📌Grew from Fall to Spring
📌 Total registrations year 1 almost 200❗
📌Added Majors division
📌 First ever LL 12 grad class of 2025
📌 Held first ever T-Mobile Little League Softball Home Run Derby
📌 FxLL Softball tournament teams are formed
📌 FxLL 8-10 Majors 🥎 All-Stars wins all pool play games going 2-0 and places Runner-up in VA LL District-10

Softball teaches our girls confidence, leadership, grit, teamwork, and resilience. It’s about stepping onto the field, putting in the work, and building lifelong friendships along the way. Whether it’s a hard-fought win or a lesson learned in defeat, every moment shapes these young athletes into strong, empowered individuals.

There’s something about a softball girl.

She’s sunburned, sweat-soaked, and covered in dirt—and still, she shows up. Game after game. Pitch after pitch. She pulls on her mask and puts on her glove and digs in. She’s gritty. She’s tough. And when it’s all on the line, she wants the ball. She wants the play. She wants to be up to bat.

You can see it in her eyes: she’s a powerhouse in a ponytail, all heart and hustle. She’s raised on dirt and diamonds, and win or lose, she shows up for her team.

Because there’s something about a softball girl.
