Hello Soccer Families! This season is underway, and tomorrow, Saturday August 29th from 8:30-11 at the BFA soccer fields, we have a season favorite…. Our gear sale and swap! Here is the deal, help us clean out the soccer storage locker with all of these great past uniform treasures! We have shirts galore, socks, a few shorts, shin guards, and cleats! All gear (apparel and shin guards/ cleats) really anything you see at the sale will be $5/ item or $20 for 5 items!!! Please bring exact cash if you have it! Otherwise we have a Venmo account.

We also have the opportunity for you to trade in your gently used cleats for this seasons size. Please make sure they are something someone else would want to use.

At every level, we have experienced coaches who can help mentor you and/or provide practice guides. We’ll also be working to run coaching clinics through the Vermont Soccer Association.

Right now, we do not have enough coaches to run all of our programs, so we need YOU! Whether you’re ready to lead a team or just willing to lend a hand, there’s a place for you.

Hello 3/4 & 5/6 Families!

Soccer is here! We initially said practice would start this week but that was ambitious with registration just closing last Friday. We are still weeks away from games so we have plenty of time. Practice will start at the end of the week/next week. We do our best to get grade/rosters correct but sometimes we misplace athletes in the transition from age to grade. If you get an email from a coach of a wrong team please reach out. If you do not get an email from a coach here are the start dates and times. We understand some families are still travelling etc.

⚽️ Pre K (U4) & K (U6)- Will train once a week from August 22nd to October 17th.
Practice at BFA Fairfax Top field, by the playground. 8:30-9:15. Fee: $50.00
We always need coaches!

⚽️ 1/2 (U8)- Will train once a week, Wednesdays and play a game on Saturday from August 22nd to October 17th. Games anticipated beginning Sept 5th. Games at BFA- Fairfax 1 hour game between 9:30-12:30 Saturday mornings . Game format - 4v4 with no goalies. Fee: $65.00

⚽️ ¾(U10) & ⅚(U12) - Will train twice a week from starting the week of August 10th thru the end of October. Teams will play in a combination of Saturday morning single games and jamboree style events. The teams will travel to various locations for away games. Practice will be at a combination of Cambridge Community center and Fletcher Elementary School. Fee: $100.00

⚽️ Premier Soccer is available for players in the U10(¾) August, U12(⅚), It is an ADDITIONAL team to their fall league FFSC team. Games are played Sundays at the Tree Farm Recreational fields in Essex, VT.
Premier is an opportunity for additional challenges for players. The level of game play is more competitive than the fall league. Teams are made up of our FFSC players, who compete against other premier teams. Additional Fee l 40.00

Due to tomorrow’s weather, camp will be moved to the Cambridge Community Center in Jeffersonville for Monday August 3rd.

Fall registration is open!

FFSC will host a Fall Soccer Session for Pre- K - 6th grade athletes. Training and games will be held at the outdoor fields behind Cambridge Community Center, Fletcher Elementary School and BFA -Fairfax.
Our recreation league will be playing by grade level. This means our teams will be grouped in a Pre-K, K, ½, ¾,& ⅚ based on the players grade in the coming fall. There is some flexibility on level of play based on players readiness. As you signup you will see U* listed. U generally stands for Under the Age of and is used nationally to assign players to divisions. If your 3rd-6th grade athlete will be playing Premier in addition to the Rec. League they will be playing based on their U* age. This should not be a problem with the change to school year based age.

Premier is an additional Sunday option for higher level game play through the Vermont Soccer League(VSL). It is a bigger commitment, from players and families. Rosters will be smaller so families will really need to be committed to the experience. Athletes that are playing premier will play with the grade cluster that their age requires. Ex. A 4th grade player is older and is already a U12. If they are interested and ready to play U12 Premier, they would then move up to 5/6 to get practice time with their premier teammates.

A general guide of each level: Players should sign up for their grade as of Fall ‘26. U** is the grouping that gotsport uses. Select the appropriate group for your players grade.

Hello All, I (Seth McQuade) will not be continuing as Club President. My time with a child at the club is nearing the end and I will not be looking to be reelected. I will be remaining part of the board through the fall season.

The President position has become vacant. On Monday (TODAY), June 22nd, 2026 @ 7:30pm we will be holding a virtual Fairfax Fletcher Soccer Club Board meeting. The primary goal of this meeting is to vote on a new President of the club. During this time any club member may cast their vote for parties interested in becoming President. The current President will stay on through the fall season to assist with a smooth transition. Please click this link to join the meeting. Club President Election Meeting.

2.1 A club member is a household that has had a registered player during the club year August 1st- July 31st. Additionally a board member with no registered children is a club member.

President – Responsible for overall league coordination. Shall call annual league meetings and Governing Body meetings as required and serves as the FFSC representative of record for events involving the Club; will have the ability to make financial decisions of up to $500 however needs the approval of one other board member to sign checks. The President will serve a two-year term and is the only member of the board elected to the position by the General Membership.

If you feel like the President role is something you are interested in, please complete this Board Member Form and/or email [email protected] with your interest.

Additionally, we would like to use this meeting time to meet/work with people interested in joining the board if you are able to attend. Board meetings are open to all and we hope this will be the start of our board meetings being attended by the general membership, so more voices can be heard and included.

Signups for Spring Soccer are open! Please register by March 4th so we can enter our teams in the Vermont Soccer League. Home games and practices will be held at the Cambridge Community Center in Jeffersonville. U14 Games will be off site field TBD as we do not have a large enough space. (Last year U14 played home games at Mills Riverside for example.)

U6 & U8: We will not be offering this at this time.

U10, U12 & U14

Schedule: Practices will be twice a week and a game on the weekend. Usually Sundays, but last year we saw more Saturday games than in the past. Practice night will be determined by coach/player availability. We understand that there may be some crossover players with other sports. The game schedule will be posted by the VSL in late March-April.

Uniforms: Players will be using our Fall 2025 uniforms which include a Custom Jersey, Black UA Shorts and White Socks. We have not included uniforms in the registration costs. If your player does not have a uniform you will have to purchase one for an additional fee of $40.00. Please select the Uniform option at payment. (We are trying to figure out the uniform link so you can select a team and a uniform in gotsport)

Coaches: We are always looking for coaches. New coaches will need to complete the certification through Gotsport and returning coaches will need to make sure their certifications are up to date. Beyond the Gotsport background check at the club level, the VSL also completes a background check for all coaches.

Roster Size: At each level we have chosen a target number of players that will allow a team to be successful. The lower end is the number we feel will allow the team to be registered and the higher end is the number where we feel players will still be getting valuable playing time.

Age Divisions: Players should register for the appropriate division. Please reach out if you have questions on the correct division. In the VSL there is no allowance for players to play in a division below their age group. Please select the age you plan to play in on the registration page. U10, U12 or U14.
