Fusion Fitness made its appearance at an Olympic Weightlifting competition! This was a GREAT experience for our first weightlifting competition appearance, and it will certainly not be the last.

The beauty of these lifts and the complex techniques they require gives me such great pleasure that I DID IT!! I was thrilled to finish with a score of 5 out of 6 lifts, with a total of 49kg (46kg bodyweight), and walked away with 1st Place in the 55-59/49kg Division.

Buongiorno! Fusion Fitness finds Florence!! Getting in a quick METCON 5 KBS, 10 SB, 15 Alternating DB Snatches and 20 Leg Lifts...3x12 of DB Bench Presses and Flyes. Off to Rome this morning...Back to USA sooon!

It almost seems surreal, but Fusion Fitness celebrated its first year of business (Est.2/22/22) over the weekend.

Friends, family, and athletes alike joined me in recognizing this milestone. Thanks everyone for all the support. Cheers to years to come!! 💪🏽🍻

Today marks Fusion Fitness Fairfax's 1st Anniversary!! It's hard to believe it's been one year since we opened our doors to helping and introducing people to ways to improve their health and fitness. Anything is possible with custom regimes to fit to their lifestyle at any level. We welcome you to our small community whether you're a beginner, no experience, or you're looking for a change or to supplement your current regimen. If nutrition is something you're struggling with, we have partnered with to provide individual coaching.

This wouldn't be a successful journey without the two people in my life that gave me this opportunity, believed in me and supported me in many ways - Many Thanks Carl Casey and Chad Obzud❤

Continuing with my own personal choices of challenges as I continue my journey to full recovery. Working on my weaknesses. January was a success eating clean, limiting 1-2 cocktails, what can I say, I love my tequila 😊 (for the most part of January I made it to 1/week, if that) and 4 weeks of muscle confusion workouts with cardio post-workouts.

For February, I added rowing (one of my least favorite). Challenging to row a total of 23,000/meters for the month. First week total 9,865

Time for Meal Prep Tip: Do you cook
your bacon in the oven? 🥓

Something I learned from my daughter - use the leftover bacon fat to roast a medley of seasoned veggies like sweet/korean potatoes, garlic cloves, butternut squash, carrots, cauliflower, broccoli for extra flavor! Sometimes I use it with a rub on oven roasted chicken.
