Next up for our Fairdale Pink Week spotlight is Fairdale Volleyball Alumni, Katie Kaufman🩷🏐
When asked “What does Pink Week mean to you?”, she responded: Pink Week was the most special time to me in all of my time at Fairdale. It was so meaningful to me because, during that time, it was about so more than just a game.
Coming together as a school and community to raise money for such an amazing cause was a feeling that was better than winning any game ever could have been.
Some of my favorite memories were making signs, coaching the student vs teachers game, and constantly begging the same people for donations! Pink Week will forever have such a special place in my heart. It was something so special that brought us all together. I will always be grateful I was able to experience Pink Week at Fairdale High.
