☀️🍦 SCHOOL’S OUT FOR SUMMER! 🍦☀️

What better way to celebrate than with a surprise visit from Golden Heart Treats! ❤️

Tonight, we treated our athletes to some well earned ice cream, and the smiles said it all. From our tiniest athletes to our seniors, it was the perfect way to kick off summer and celebrate the start of another amazing season together.

Season 14 is already off to an incredible start. The energy, friendships, laughter, and teamwork we’re seeing remind us exactly why we do what we do. These athletes aren’t just teammates they’re family. 💗

We can’t wait to see what this season has in store for each and every one of these amazing humans. Thank you to Golden Heart Treats for helping us make the night extra sweet!

💗 Back to Our Roots 💗

At North Star, community service has always been something that has meant a lot to our gym. One of the things that helped build this program from the beginning was teaching our athletes that being part of a team means giving back to the community around us. 💗

As we head into Season 14, we are excited to get back to our roots and bring monthly community service projects back to our gym family.

For the month of May, our athletes and families came together to help clean up the veterans area at Birch Hill and we could not be more proud of the way our families showed up.

Now we are excited to get a head start on our June Community Service Project in support of children in our community who are going through incredibly difficult times.

Throughout June, we will be collecting donations for OCS for children being removed from their homes. Far too often, children leave with very few belongings and little comfort during such a hard transition. Our goal is to help provide them with something of their own and remind them that they are cared about.💗

We are collecting:
🎒 Duffel bags
🎽 Gym bags
🎒 Backpacks
🪥 Toiletries & hygiene items

Requested toiletry items include:
🪥 Toothbrushes & toothpaste
🧴 Shampoo & conditioner
🧼 Body wash
🪮 Hair brushes/combs
✨ Deodorant

OCS has specifically requested travel-size toiletries when possible, as they are easier to distribute and store.

If anyone in the community would like to donate new bags or toiletries, donations can be dropped off at the cheer gym throughout the month of June.

Today we remember and honor the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. 🇺🇸❤️

We are thankful for the brave men and women who served our country and the families who carry their legacy every day. Memorial Day is more than a long weekend it’s a reminder of courage, sacrifice, and the strength of community.

As we spend time with our families, enjoy the sunshine, and make memories together, we pause to remember those who gave everything so we could have these moments.

From our gym family to yours, we wish everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day. ❤️🤍💙

Practice looked a little different tonight. 💖

Tonight wasn’t about stunts, jumps, or tumbling it was about community, teamwork, leadership, and giving back. Our athletes, families, and friends came together at Birch Hill and worked incredibly hard to help clean and restore the area, and we could not be more proud.

From the youngest little helpers picking up leaves to parents hauling branches and athletes working nonstop, everyone showed up with amazing attitudes and huge hearts. ✨

This is what North Star is all about. We are building more than athletes we are building strong, respectful, hardworking young people who understand the importance of helping others and supporting their community.

A HUGE thank you to every athlete, parent, sibling, friend, and volunteer who came out tonight. Because of all of you, we accomplished so much! ⭐

We also want to give a special thank you to the Sons of American Legion for providing dinner, pizza, and drinks. 🍕🥤

Season 14 is already showing us just how special this North Star family truly is. ⭐🖤💕

Season 14 is already off to an AMAZING start 💖🖤

From practices to team bonding to making memories together outside the gym this season is already becoming something so special. Last night our North Star family got to experience the circus together, and seeing the smiles on our athletes, families, and friends’ faces meant everything. 🎪✨

The laughter, the excitement, and the friendships being built across ALL ages of our gym this is what it’s all about. More than cheer, we are building a family and creating memories that will last forever. 💫

A HUGE thank you to the Fairbanks Choice Lions for helping make this possible for all of our athletes, families, and friends. Your support means more than words can say, and we are so grateful for a community that continues to believe in our program. ❤️

The smile on her face says everything 💖✨

This is what cheer is really about — confidence, trust, teamwork, and those moments where athletes realize just how strong and capable they are. Watching these girls lift each other up, literally and emotionally, is one of the best parts of what we do.

Our older athletes are already setting such amazing examples for the younger ones — encouraging them, building their confidence, and showing them what teamwork and leadership look like. These little athletes look up to them more than they know, and moments like this are what make our gym family so special. 🖤⚡️💖

So proud of these athletes and the bonds they’re building already this season.
