Community Southern Baptist Church is partnering with The Race Of The Redeemed-Distinguished 2026!! Huge thank you to them for their YES to help us get the word out about the race to more people and help determine who we will give the proceeds to! 👏 They have shown over the years that they are responsible, worthy, and in touch to be able to help the people of our community in Fair Grove. I am so thankful for their input and support this year!

I have wonderful news! This Race Of The Redeemed is now officially a non profit organization! Thank you to those who prayed for these things I've been trying to do to grow this and make it better for all! Blessings!😁👏

The goal is to help you in the community to be seen and heard about what your going through. The goal is to partner with you financially as much as possible and offer the Truth we know can make all the difference in your life! So onward we go! 2026!

We do not have a recipient of the proceeds yet. So who do you know in the community of Fair Grove that is struggling with depression and overwhelm that we could bless this year? Except if you were out-of-state, it got mailed the other day, so you should be receiving it soon if you haven't yet. How is everyone?😀
Well we haven't been shut indoors due to weather yet! I hope you've been getting out and soaking up some sun!☀️ Walks in the fall are the best!🍂

I wanted to share because I have never read or heard anyone about what I have experienced.

So running this second marathon I did fine as far as physical stuff. I even ran that next week and felt great! Then after running that day, in the afternoon my foot along the side just started hurting and got so bad I was limping around on it! It seemed out of the blue. A couple days went by without me running and it felt better so I ran again and again it hurt after. So someone has told me that you put so much strain on your body with a marathon that this can happen, just random spots of pain. Crazy! I still don't really know what it is. I ran a couple days ago and it's not currently hurting. But I have ordered OK tape on amazon and going to give that a try on painful spots in the coming weeks.
Has anyone else had after effects of running like this?
