The scores may not fully reflect it, but I couldn't be more proud of this group. I know our guys aren't happy with the results, but I still want to give props to Owen and Isaac leading the way for us. These kids put their hearts into every shot and continue to give tremendous effort every time they step on the course. Through two tournaments, I haven't seen a single shot where one of our players didn't give it everything they had. I know they're capable of much lower scores, but their attitude, effort, and determination make me just as proud as any score ever could.
Just as importantly, every player represented Reitz in a professional, respectful, and sportsmanlike manner throughout the day. Their character continues to be a great reflection of our program.
A huge thank you to our parents as well. Your support, encouragement, and positive attitude help create a great atmosphere for our team and everyone around us. We truly appreciate all the drinks, snacks, and help throughout the day. We are very fortunate to have such an outstanding group of families supporting Reitz Golf.
