Finn's season has ended with a pin in the second round of wrestle backs. He did an outstanding job as a sophomore this year and will be back with a swarm of Hornets next year! Thanks to all for supporting Hornet Wrestling! It's a great day to be a Hornet!

Finn lost his quarter final match by major decision. He will be back at it tomorrow in the second round of wrestle backs which begins at approximately 1:00

Finn won the preliminary round by fall. He will wrestle again today in the quarter final round which begins at 5:30

We sent 5 wrestlers to a very tough sectional at Olympia. Great effort was put forth by everyone. Finn Hoffman got 4th place and is a Hornet Wrestling state qualifier at 144 pounds! Henry Watson will be going along as an alternate at 132 pounds. Great work boys!

Ten Hornets wrestled some of their best matches of the year during regionals at DeeMack today. We placed 2nd as a team. Six made it through to the medal round. Top 3 in each weight class advance to sectionals in two weeks at Olympia.

Sectional qualifiers are:

Finn Hoffman 1st place at 144
Sam Hoffman 1st place at 150
Gavin Alliss 2nd place at 165

The Olympia JV tournament was cancelled today due to the weather. Coach Kenny Robertson took everyone to the Randy Bowman Invitational in Leroy. Every one of the Hornets looked great against some very tough competition. Eureka placed 7th out of 20 as a team. Medals were handed out to 5th place
