Congratulations Coach King!

We’re proud to share that MSMS Tennis Coach Troy King has been named a 2024–2025 MHSAA/NFHS Coach of the Year!

Each year, the Mississippi High School Activities Association partners with the National Federation of High Schools to recognize outstanding coaches who make a lasting impact on student-athletes across the state.

Coach King led the MSMS Tennis Team to a historic season last year—bringing home three Class 1 State Titles:
🥇 Boys Doubles
🥇 Girls Doubles
🥇 Team Championship

Reflecting on that success, Coach King shared:

“As a coach, it meant a great deal to me, but it truly means the world to me for the kids, because they put in so much work to get here. The endless smiles from them and the parents are what make this job so amazing. Winning this state championship is not just about an accomplishment; it’s about the bond the players have formed with us and among each other.”
