I had Molly and Michael on a half-day trip today. They wanted enough for a fish fry, and we got them that. Molly also got to learn how to swing some crappie in the boat. She made sure to let Micheal know that she caught the most fish and the biggest fish.

Fish on Eufaula are definitely transitioning to the post spawn and summer pattern and if we didn’t have a Heavy D’s Hand Tied Jigs tipped with a minnow, they wouldn’t fire.

I had Dan and Christy today, and she stayed in the hot seat most of the day, slinging in crappie as fast as I could run them down. Suspended roaming fish were what we targeted, and same as the last few trips, if they looked at it once and didn’t bite, we moved on.

I had James and Zack today for a Eufaula smack fest. They have been with me a couple times and have the system down pretty good. Fish are suspending more and a bunch are being caught 1-2ft from the surface in all ranges of water. Thanks again guys for coming out this year.

I had Tanner and his dad today for a solid day on Eufaula. They wanted a mess for a fish fry then we went big fish hunting the second half the day. We never got a giant but got a couple 1.90s for them. Fish are definitely spawning and spewing eggs when they hit the deck.

Helped out Don McClish and TCC Guide Service - The Crappie Cowboy Craig Nichols with a group trip today and they all got after some Eufaula crappie. Fish are still on bottom but they did suspend up a bit more today. Hair jig and moving fast was the key.

Had Bryan and his dad with me for day 1. We found fish pinned to the bottom and picked them off as they crawled around. If you miss the fish on the first try move on they won’t fire again after that.
