Had a good time helping out the SEGA- Spine Tingler II crew at the first Southeast Gassers Association event this year. Was great to catch up with some friends. Looking forward to the next one.

Super nice Chevy C-10 that we had the opportunity to work on this past week. The truck had been previously lowered but had some interference in the exhaust and frame. We installed a customer provided C notch kit that turned out super nice and slightly relocated the exhaust to gain the clearance required. We also installed a one piece driveshaft custom built by Hudlow Axle of Chattanooga to eliminate the geometry issues due to lowering the truck. This truck left in great mechanical shape and will make for a fun summer cruiser. We want to thank everyone for the continued support and business as I chase this crazy dream!

Had a good time this weekend testing at Etheridge Motorsports Park with Dean Trowbridge aswell as Randy Keifer and crew. We were able to get Deans car ready to go in time for this test session to try out his new suspension setup done using all of our in house designed brackets, and components to give him a smooth and easily tunable ride. We ended up reworking his steering, front leaf spring mounting, transmission mounting, brake lines, and the whole rearend package utilizing a bare quick performance housing as a great platform to start building on to. I am pleased with how it turned out and look forward to seeing Deans continued progress.

We were also able to make some strides and continue to learn and improve on Randy’s new combination with the Spine Tingler wagon as we continue moving forward closer to that first race for the Southeast Gassers Association at Shadyside Dragway.

Just got my issue of Sick The Magazine in the mail covering the Sick Smokies event and I am incredibly honored to have a feature article wrote by Luke Nieuwhof. Being a part of this event was incredible and opened my eyes to the drag and drive world and how well the Sick crew could run an event. The time we had on this event was second to none and I am proud of what we achieved with Butch’s old racecar in Southeast Gassers Association trim. Again an extended thank you goes out to Luke and the rest of the crew at Sick The Magazine, and to all of the new and old friends that helped us not only make it to the event, but finish it! I cannot wait for the next one we are able to attend. I would also highly recommend a subscription to this magazine, it is a very nice quality double sided magazine.
