Little late on this post, but wanted to let everyone know we had a great time at the Meltdown 10 Event. Thank you to the MDA for putting on such an awesome event. It was so great to see some old friends and run with the Brew City Gassers. Thank you to Dean Trowbridge for getting us hooked up with this group, and thank you to Mark Davis for having us. Looking forward to the next one.

The “Moonbeam” Ranchero had some issues that had to be sorted to make some semi-clean passes on the 1/4 mile track, which left us with a best elapsed time of 9.40 at 144 mph. I am sure it has a lot left in it, but due to spending so much time of the weekend repairing pulled rocker bolt threads and fighting clutch issues, not much tuning was done. Thank you to Patrick Hampton of Panty Dropper Racing for getting us set up with his tig welder at the track to get the repairs done needed to keep the car going.

All in all, it was a great weekend spent with my family, Grandpa, Great Uncle Tommy, and good friend Butch.

It sure was nice getting back to the track, but we are already hard at it back in the shop keeping all these projects we have going. Keep your eyes peeled on our page here and website for some updates and new products coming soon.

I am excited to let everyone know we will be racing here soon at Byron Dragway at the Meltdown 10 event. It has been all too long and I look forward to having the Ranchero back out on July 17th and 18th racing with the Brew City Gassers at the racetrack and event that got it all started for me. Look forward to seeing everyone soon!
