Collin update.
We had an orthopedic consult Tuesday morning and Collin was in the OR having surgery on his arm Tuesday afternoon. The surgery involved putting a little hardware in his arm in the form of a plate and some screws and then they casted him back up. There will be no racing or swimming or anything Collin deems fun for a while, but he is doing great after surgery.
With this accident, Collin also hit his 2 front teeth on the top row-hit on the ground most likely, and did a bit of damage there as well. Wednesday morning our fantastic dentist got us in to check him out and ended up doing some surface fillings to the damaged/chipped teeth. She did an amazing job.

After a very long few days, we all need some rest. Thank you to everyone that reached out! and for your prayers. All the calls, texts, snaps, and facebook messages mean the world to us all.

Well, this is not a post I expected to make! Collin is ok, but will definitely not be racing this weekend. Collin took a spill with his E. Scooter and fractured his right arm last night. We’ll be meeting with the orthopedic doctor this morning and will most likely be having surgery today. Keep little man in your thoughts and prayers today please! He’s one of the toughest cookies I know!

Atwater - Tasha Fester memorial series
We brought the 45C back to Atwater on Saturday the the 13th for the Tasha Fester memorial race weekend. It’s beautiful to see so many karts show for this special weekend.

Results
Heat race - P4 to P2
Feature - P3 to P3

After a rough start in the feature, we have a few things to fix on the kart before next week’s big race. Coming up next Friday and Saturday (19th-20th) - is the AJC Mid America Series race at University Plains Speedway in Brookings. We’re excited for another big race and more excited that it’s close to home!

Brookings - University Plains Speedway

Saturday June 6th was the season opener and The Duffy Memorial race at the University Plains Speedway in Brookings. It was a hot, but good day and it was so good to see so many familiar faces. Collin also had a soccer tournament this weekend, so after we were done being overly busy, he took a very good nap on Sunday.
