We will also be hosting the wing karts Dustin Duffy Memorial Race.

This weekend our 45C team traveled to Atwater, MN on Saturday for the All America Shootout. Collin loves racing this track and has really found some speed in the last few weeks. Change of plans! Brookings canceled, headed to Atwater instead 🙂

Excited for the Season Opener this weekend!

**ATTENTION** Schedule Change. Couple of things:
1st: We have changed the dates for the Firecracker Shootout. We will be doing normal points races on the 3rd, and the shootout on the 4th. Fireworks will be on the 3rd. (I am looking for sponsors as well as someone with experience that is willing to set the show up.)
2nd: The Dustin Duffy Memorial Race will be on June 6th as the 1st date conflicted with the Duffy's schedules.
3rd: Please send us a message if you'd be/or know anyone interested in track sponsorship info!

Atwater AJC Races
This weekend Collin Griffin racing traveled to Atwater, MN for the AJC Mid-America series Memorial Weekend show at the Atwater Karting Speedway! The track was fast, even though Mother Nature refused to cooperate, ending in a rain-out on Sunday. Each day Collin was entered into 3 different Junior 1 events. Here’s our weekend results, and our first top 3 finish of the year! Congratulations to the other Junior 1 drivers this weekend!! It is Fantastic to see such great sportsmanship with these young drivers.

Saturday:
Junior 1 light - Feature P6 to P3 🏁
Junior 1 heavy - Feature P6 to P5
Junior 1 choose cone - P7 to P5

Sunday:
Junior 1 light - Feature P6 to P4
Junior 1 heavy - Heat finished 5th , best lap 10.883. Feature rained out
Junior 1 Memorial - Qualified 5th with a lap of 10.779. Feature rained out

To say we were bummed that the last 2 features got rained out is the understatement of the year. Collin was so fast in the 45C and had so much fun driving with difficult competition and improving himself. We can’t wait to see him carry this momentum to the next track! Next week will be the season opener in Brookings, SD - University Plains Speedway.
