From September 8 through October 16, donate a NEW Halloween costume in any size at any YMCA of Greater Montgomery location. All donated costumes will be given to children along our Brown Bag Bus route.

Today, we walked through our YMCA and asked our members one simple question:

“Do you remember where you were when 9/11 happened?”

The answers were deeply moving. Some memories were shared with tears, some with quiet reflection, and others with details that have remained vivid through the years. Each story was different, but every one carried the weight of a day our nation will never forget.

September 11 reminds us how quickly life can change—and how powerfully people can come together in the face of unimaginable tragedy. Today, we pause to remember the lives that were lost, honor the heroes who ran toward danger, and hold close the families whose lives were forever changed.

May we never forget the heartbreak of that day, the courage that followed, or the unity that brought us together.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget. 🇺🇸
