How far does the team travel?
The Bulldogs program primarily participates in tournaments within Vermont, with occasional exceptions for tournaments in Plattsburgh, NY. Common tournament locations include Burlington, Essex, Lyndon, Barre, and Castleton. The coach ultimately determines which tournaments the team enters.
How much does it cost?
The cost of participating in the Bulldogs AAU basketball program varies depending on factors such as the number of tournaments attended and whether players require uniforms. On average, the cost per tournament is approximately $400 for a team with eight players, equating to around $50 per player per tournament. Additionally, players may need to purchase uniforms, with the required jersey typically costing around $50. An AAU extended membership, costing $22, is also required for access to AAU events and insurance coverage. Overall, the total cost typically ranges from $250 to $350 per player, depending on tournament selection and uniform needs.
How do we order Uniforms?
Uniforms can be purchased online through our team store that is managed by Kevin Smith. The store will be open the day after tryouts and all orders must be in by March 3rd when the store closes. When orders are ready I will pick them up at Kevin Smiths and get them to coaches to be handed out at practice.

Does AAU season interfere with baseball season?
While the AAU basketball season may coincide with baseball season, accommodations are made for players who participate in both sports. Tournaments generally take place on Saturdays and Sundays, allowing flexibility for players involved in baseball. Coaches work with players and parents to create schedules that accommodate both sports, including adjusting practice times or selecting tournaments that align with baseball season timelines.
How are players determined eligible?
Players from the Enosburg area and surrounding communities are eligible to participate in the Bulldogs program. There are no specific school requirements such as grades for eligibility.
